How to change a Blackboard menu item – OLD – eLearning Support and Resources

You may wish to change the name of a menu item, or remove it entirely.

Edit Mode

1. Check that Edit Mode is turned ON. This can be switched by clicking ON or OFF.

2. Click on the Modify button (downward pointing arrow) beside the menu item you wish to change.

3. Click on Rename Link to change the name of the menu item.

4. Change the text according to your preference. Press enter to finish, or click on the green tick.
