Anyone in Digital Learning can post on the blog, to share useful advice or information, or summarise a project. Posts should be informal in style – the Yoast readability analysis gives helpful advice.
Featured image and excerpt
In the page settings for your post, set a featured image and add a short excerpt summarising the post. This is what will appear on the blog homepage.
Categories
Utilise existing categories rather than add new ones.
Tags
Search for relevant, existing tags rather than add variations on existing ones. Sometimes it will be appropriate and necessary to add something new.
Tags are used to populate feeds on our team website, so ensure your blog post is tagged with one (or more) of the tags suggested in either table below. This is a temporary solution (and since Sept 2024 we have had a ticket open as the migration to Leaf broke the RSS feed) but please continue to use these tags at present.
