Dr. Asish Kumar Ghosh
Dr. Asish Ghosh, Founder-Director of CED, attended the University of Calcutta and University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA. He has served the Government of India for 24 years under the Department of Science and Technology and later under the Ministry of Environment and Forest in different capacities.
Sukanya Banerjee completed her undergraduate studies with Geography (Hons.) from Loreto College, Kolkata and M.Sc. in “International Course in Human Rights” from the University of Calcutta. She worked as a research investigator in a UNICEF funded child rights project at WBNUJS, Kolkata and as a “Gandhi Fellow” at Kaivalya Education Foundation at Surat, Gujarat. Ms Banerjee will be working on Work Package 3 on the DECCMA project.
Farha Naaz has a Master’s in ‘International course in Human Rights’ from the University of Calcutta. She also has work experience in the area of “Juvenile Justice” (UNICEF) and “Addressing the concerns of women admitted into Psychiatric Institutions in India” (National Commission For Women). Ms Naaz will be working on Work Package 6 on the DECCMA project.
