Well, it’s over. Thanks to all of our presenters, symposium organizers, volunteers and faculty members for making this year’s symposium a huge success. We saw a a lot of exciting new research from our colleagues, received feedback from a broader audience than we often receive, and had a great time doing it. Hi Folks, Today marks the start of our two day symposium! We have been hard at work preparing everything and we hope you all enjoy it. Hi all, The big week is finally here! If you’re presenting, you’re surely busy preparing your presentation at the moment. Remember to keep them no longer than 15 minutes as we are quite short on time. For the first 2 sessions on Thursday, we ask that you please send in your presentation via email to pgrsymposium@gmail.com by Wednesday evening so we can make sure that these are ready to go Thursday morning. [flickr-gallery] Today is the final day for submissions of your photos for the contest to be held during the symposium! We have received quite a few today, but more would always be better! Just send the images to our email, pgrsymposium@gmail.com Early next week we will have them printed and on display in the main archaeology building, and a vote will be held during the symposium on the 24th and 25th. We are still waiting to hear about some of the session chairs, but have decided to go with faculty members to act in this capacity. Hi folks, We have gotten in quite a few abstracts in the last days, bringing our total of presenters up to 42. I know there might be a few stragglers left, so we are going to extend the deadline until NEXT WEDNESDAY, 2 May 2012. We will be meeting on Thursday to work out the schedule, so this is the absolute latest you can get the abstracts in.
