Clare Lizamit Samling
Clare Lizamit Samling is a Ph.D Research Fellow at the Centre for Environment and Development, Kolkata. She has attained her Masters in Sociology from Jadavpur University and has been involved in various social surveys and research. Her involvement in the DECCMA project is on Migration and Governance Systems.
Dr Nilanjan Ghosh
Dr Nilanjan Ghosh is a Senior Fellow (Professor) at Observer Research Foundation, Kolkata Chapter, he is also Senior Advisor in Environmental Economics at World Wide Fund (WWF) for Nature, New Delhi, India. A natural resource economist and econometrician by training, he was a faculty member at TERI University and has many publications to his name. He is involved in WP4 of DECCMA.
Anchita Ghatak
Anchita Ghatak is the Secretary of Parichiti – A Society for Empowerment of Women and an independent consultant on Gender and Women’s Rights, Child Rights, Labour Rights, Policy Reform and Health. She has been part of research projects on rights of women domestic workers, education of girls and women’s safety and mobility. She is working with DECCMA India to ensure that gender is incorporated in its workings.
Sunita Dey
Ms. Sunita Dey, Research Scholar at Centre for Environment & Development, Kolkata has received her M.Sc in Environment Science from BVIEER, Pune and eventually established an interest in the related field. Sunita has received the Junior Research Fellowship in DECCMA, and her focused areas are Adaptation & Governance Systems.
Gurdeep Rastogi
Dr. Gurdeep Rastogi is a Senior Scientist in the Wetland Research and Training Centre, Chilika Development Authority, Bhubaneswar. His research interests include coastal microbial processes, biodiversity studies, and sustainable management of bio-resources. He is involved in WP2 of DECCMA project with the Mahanadi Delta as his research area.
