NOTE that EPSRC funding finishes 30th March 2020.
The Network will continue, and is still able to support the funding and organisation of meetings, after that date but other funding has to be complete by then.
Dial-a-Molecule can help to fund and organise meetings relevant to its aims. These can be anything from large open meetings to small invite only sandpits to write a research proposal. Generally we will pay for the venue and facilities, but accommodation and travel may be covered in some cases. If you have an idea for a meeting you would like to organise let us know.
Interdisciplinary Mobility awards. These are to allow people to spend some time in another laboratory (including industry /academia exchanges) to exchange skills and ideas and develop collaborations. Travel and accommodation will be covered and participants may apply for funds to support consumables and small equipment. Maximum grant is expected to be £2000.

Proof of Concept awards. A flexible competitive grant awarded towards the cost of consumables and small equipment for Proof of Concept studies to support subsequent proposals and/or to produce output of benefit to the Dial-a-Molecule community. Whilst it is not essential that proposals are collaborative, this would be viewed as an advantage. Maximum individual awards are likely to be £2000.
Bursaries are available for Early Career Researchers to attend Dial-a-Molecule events so that cost need not be a barrier. Application for these is through the meeting application forms. [Note: ECRs are defined as being within 10 years of their first appointment although allowance will be made for part time working or career breaks].
