TheĀ largest and deepest of Earth’sĀ oceanicĀ divisions. It extends from the ArcticĀ OceanĀ in the north to the SouthernĀ OceanĀ (or, depending onĀ definition, to Antarctica) in the south and is bounded by Asia and Australia in the west and the Americas in the east.
