Books and ebooks

The Library has thousands of books and ebooks. Our physical books are shelved by subject and our ebooks are available through our Library catalogue.

You can browse and access any books in our libraries; you don’t just have to read books from your subject area.

You can find print (hard copy) books in all our libraries. Most of our books are available for you to borrow.

Ebooks are digital books. You can access them online by using our library catalogue Library Search.

Most ebooks:

Can be read online or offline
Provide clear key information about the book (author, title, date and place of publication etc.)
Have an option to search within the book
Have a hyperlinked contents page that allows you to move easily between different chapters
Have an option to download one chapter as a PDF
