- Install LaTEX for windows: Texmaker or TEXnicCenter or MikTex or ShareLatex.
- Install LaTEX for Mac: https://www.tug.org/mactex/mactex-download.html [open new terminal to use pdflatex after installation]
- Emacs is a good editor. To install emacs on Mac: brew cask install emacs
