Registration
First, please register for an apple developer account in order to download some useful Xcodes programs.
Installations
Please download and install Xcode 4.6 (released on Feb 20 2013) from the Apple website:

Sample codes can be downloaded from the Apple website:

Among the various example Xcodes provided by Apple, the following are
useful for MAP related App development:
iOS/Breadcrumb
iOS/KMLViewer
The explanations/documentations are provided at their website, only available to you
after you login using your Apple ID.
Tutorials
There are many Xcodes related online tutorials available. I would recommend you to have a look at them and try out some of the examples.
