Phase 1: Getting Started

The best way for you to produce a significant intercultural impact is to run your own intercultural project. So, what are you waiting for? Get your team together and start thinking about creating ways to make this world a better place. This is the time for you and your team mates to brain storm clever and powerful ideas. Your mission is simple: make an intercultural impact.

  • Keep your project start date and end date in mind;
  • Work on a specific goal with your team;
  • Create something that doesnā€™t already exist;

Phase 2: Letā€™s Plan it

After you and your team have decided your goals and what you want to achieve, itā€™s time for planning! Roll up your sleeves, and divide your project into different phases.Ā Create deadlines and make sure each member of your team has an assigned task. Successful projects are the result of excellent teamwork!

  • Distribute tasks equally;
  • Consider costs and ways to request funding;
  • Include project marketing;

Phase 3: Letā€™s do it

  • NotĀ panic if something goes wrong;
  • Be open to improvise if there is any problem;

Phase 4: Be proud of your success

Well done! You came a long way, now take some time to analyse what you have achieved. Your project has reached the end date and now all you have do is very simple. Hopefully you have made an amazing impact either on the city or university of Southamptonā€¦ or both!

  • Celebrate with your team mates!
