Lectures

During the summer school, students are introduced to an array of topics that permeate contemporary Chinese society. The content is not simply confined to economics, given that economies play a role in shaping populations, political governance, and everyday lives and societies. For that reason, the lectures not only span the breadth of economics but extend into the disciplines of demography, politics and international relations, and sociology.

Each lecture is based heavily on research that is multi-disciplinary in nature and incredibly important in contemporary China.
