Cultural Activities

Whilst in China, experiencing the authentic culture and lifestyle is a must! As a summer school student, when you are not in the classroom, you will be immersed in all aspects of Chinese culture, from food and drink to music, dance, art, sport and language.

The summer school is designed to give you a genuine experience of Chinese life, from the traditional to the contemporary. As well as our terrific tour guides, Xiamen University’s students will also play a huge role in helping you experience this culture so do take time to get to know them – creating (lifetime) friendships is absolutely encouraged!
