She is currently the University of Southampton’s IEEE Women-in-Engineering Officer and an active committee member in the University of Southampton Students’ Union Postgraduate Committee. In 2018 she successfully led the Southampton team to win the IEEE Women-In-Engineering International Leadership Summit bid.
In her spare time, Aneesha loves to travel. Her passion in life is to discover new places, meet new people and try new cuisines. She enjoys cooking… all thanks to MasterChef, the BBC television competitive cooking show. She enjoys spending quality time with her friends, whether it’s sitting, watching movies or singing karaoke.
Aneesha also plays an active role at the University of Southampton in supporting women and addressing diversity issues. Being a woman of Indian background allowed her to realise the fact that tackling equality and diversity issues requires a great understanding of the root causes within our society.
