Blog Guidelines

1. The blog’s title is borrowed from Michel Foucault’s lectures on ‘Fearless Speech’ to encourage scholarship that is as fearless, irreverent and critical of the academic consensus as possible.

2. A blog post can cover any substantive law topic, provide a commentary on a news story, educational matter, HE issue or anything else that broadly fits within our remit.

3. The post should be no more than 1500 words, with no footnotes, although a moderate number of links may be put in the text.

4. The blog post should be written in an engaging and frank style for a generalist audience and address the issue head on.
