Mariana Vargas-Caballero presented a marathon of talks in Barton Peveril 6th Form College on the 28th of November as part of the University “ask the expert” programme. Click here for more information on this outreach programme.
Mariana’s talk on memory and Alzheimer’s disease reached ~300 students aged 15-18!
Many of them were surprised/pleased to know that the risk of Alzheimer’s disease can be reduced with a healthy lifestyle and even by having healthier gums!
