18th December – day 18
A joint Chemistry/Biological Sciences outreach event targeting secondary school students in years 8 and 9 took place on the afternoon of December 14th in B46.
The Christmas Science Lecture for pupils and teachers of Key Stage 3 Science will feature a Science Demonstration Lecture by Paul Wilson for pupils in Years 8 and 9 as well as interactive sessions focussing on Chemistry and Biological Sciences (by Simon Gerrard and Herman Wijnen). This festive event aimed to enthuse the audience and increase their interest in the sciences.
