Important Update

We are delighted by the range of papers and panels that we now have in hand for BASAS 2022!  In starting to put together the programme, we have realised that we need to extend the dates of the conference to allow everyone the opportunity to attend the papers that interest them, at a time that is reasonable within their time zone.  The conference will therefore start on the 29th March, and run in the UK morning/South Asia afternoon until 2 Saturday 2 April.

Important Information

The registration for the conference is a two step process. Only members of the association can register for the conference. Therefore, if you are not already a member of the association then please obtain your membership by visiting the following page.

If you are an overseas participant resident in South Asia then you will qualify for concession rate membership.

You will be given a members only code which you can use to register for the conference. Please plan for a couple of days of delay in obtaining this code as it is provided by the BASAS  Assistant Secretary who only works part-time.

Important Dates 

  • There is no early bird registration rate. 
  • Deadline for registration for presenter’s 10th of March 2022. 
  • The deadline for attendees and close of registration is 2nd of April.

This code is found in the BASAS members area and scrolling down.

Issues with PayPal buying BASAS membership:

  1. Visit https://www.basas.org.uk/login/ and login with your existing username/email and password
  2. Scroll down to the “Your membership information” section and click “EDIT ACCOUNT”
  3. Click the “Subscriptions” tab
    • If a subscription is displayed with a “Subscribe” button on the right – click this to resubscribe
    • If a subscription is displayed with a “Update” or “Cancel” on the right – click “Cancel”, followed by “JOIN BASAS NOW” in the footer to subscribe
    • If no subscription is displayed – click “JOIN BASAS NOW” in the footer to subscribe
