The majority of the research for the Icarus Project is undertaken by the GDP team, a group of Masters Students in their final year. The current team, 2016-17, are working on increasing the performance of key areas of the Icarus 1 wingsuit by extensively researching, testing and aiming to implement innovative solutions. Meet the current team here: 2016/17 Team
The 2015-16 team, the first year that The Icarus Project ran, scientifically designed theoretically the highest performing wingsuit available. Featuring winglets and vortex generators, the radical design is a brilliant platform for the current team to work on.
