The Medical Education Innovation Network (MEIN) was developed in order to support students’ success by increasing teaching and learning effectiveness. It aimed to share best practices in education to improve students’ learning experiences by supporting new educational strategies, disseminating cutting-edge educational research and promoting innovative projects.
The network, a dedicated group of teacher-focused academics within the Faculty of Medicine, was launched at the beginning of the 2017/18 academic year. A half-day conference officially opened MEIN, with a focus on “Roots in the past. Eyes on the future.”
