Invited Talk at Tata Institute of Social Science (Hyderabad, India)

Dr Achala Gupta was invited to deliver a seminar at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Hyderabad Off-Campus, on 13th November 2025, on the topic of Shadow Education. This talk was titled ‘Renewed Perspectives on Schooling Practices and Processes: A Sociological Appraisal of Shadow Education‘.

Dr Achala Gupta described this as an enriching opportunity to engage in insightful discussions with the brilliant students and colleagues with new, diverse ideas and thoughts, and excellent questions.
