The School Voices Research-Practice Partnership is expanding collaborations with the involvement of new primary schools, secondary schools and a Further Education College in Southampton and Hampshire. On Tuesday 19th November 2024, a workshop at the University, which was planned jointly between University of Southampton researchers and the partnershipās hub schools and collaborating schools, introduced the ideas to new school contexts. Participants had the opportunity to hear about the research approaches used, focusing on studentsā voices and dialogues to respond to student diversity and promote inclusion in schools. Each of the schools shared their experiences and the impact that the research approaches had on their students and on their own practices. They also had the opportunity to discuss challenges faced when introducing such approaches and how to address these. All schools are now planning their next steps with their collaborative action research studies, with the support of the University researchers.Ā
