Dr Jay de los Reyes, work examines the impact of mobilities of labour and risks on educational experiences of left-behind children in the northern Philippines, and the resilience of academics in higher education around the world during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was the Principal Investigator of the Resilience Beyond Borders project funded by the UNIVERSITAS 21 Researcher Resilience Sustainability Fund scheme along with investigators from the University of California-Davis, University of Hong Kong, University of Melbourne, Monash University, University of Queensland, and University of New England.
