CO2024 is the 22nd edition of the Combinatorial Optimization Conference Series. It will be held at the University of Southampton (Sir James Matthew Building, Above Bar Street, Southampton City centre, UK) on June 26th – 28th, 2024, with the aim of bringing together researchers and practitioners of Combinatorial Optimization.
Special Issue in Annals of Operations Research: Combinatorial Optimisation
This special issue aims to publish selected papers presented during the 22nd edition of the CO2024. Contributions arising from papers presented at the conference should be substantially extended and cite the conference abstract where appropriate. Only works presented in the CO2024 will be considered to be published in this special issue. We seek original and unpublished work not currently under consideration in any other journal. More details will be shared in due course.
The meeting aims to bring together researchers in the field of Combinatorial Optimization to present their work, share experiences, and discuss recent advances in theory of methods and applications.
Topics of interest
- Development of methods such as exact optimization methods, approximation algorithms, network flows, integer programming, global optimisation, stochastic optimisation multi-objective optimisation, heuristics/metaheuristics, hyperheuristics, matheuristics, decomposition-based algorithms, column generation, bilevel/multi-level programming, graph theory.
- Developments in application areas such as game theory, cutting and packing, vehicle routing, scheduling, timetabling, pricing.
- Applications in areas such as production/manufacturing, supply chain optimisation, finance, energy, telecommunication, sports.
