Day 14

Today’s advent is dedicated to some stunning work from our 4th year taught Master students taking the BIOL6075 Biological Optical Imaging module coordinated by Mark Willett.

IT’s BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS!

Click on this link ⇒BIOL6075 002 ⇐ for a movie showing cytoskeleton dynamics in live cells. The cell is transfected with Actin GFP and Tubulin RFP and the nucleus is stained with Hoechst

This is a confocal image showing microtubules (green) and mitochondria (red).

Have a look on the website of the BioSci imaging and micropscopy website here for more examples and information on our imaging facility – well worth a visit!
