So I wanted to highlight a few of the many benefits that come with the sport.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>5 benefits of playing water polo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Toning<br><\/strong>Water polo players are constantly on the move, using an eggbeater kick to stay high in the water. A good eggbeater is vital to water polo and uses every muscle in your legs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stamina<\/strong><br>You can\u2019t switch off for a second in water polo. It\u2019s a high-paced game where essentially you are interval training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Easy on the joints<\/strong><br>Water polo is an intense, physical game, but the fact that it\u2019s played in water means it\u2019s easier on joints than sport played on hard ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Social<\/strong><br>Playing team sports is a fantastic way for people to develop their social skills. Teamwork and good communication are vital for success in water polo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Problem solving<\/strong><br>Another benefit of playing a water polo is that it\u2019s great at developing problem solving. You\u2019ll learn strategies to break down a defence and how to play with an extra player.
