The Careers Fairs Coordinators:

These are the ladies who organise your important Careers Fairs.  This involves the coordination of numerous aspects and some of these are listed below:

  1. Setting the date and booking the venue
  2. Setting up the booking form for companies to book their place to meet you!
  3. Creating the important information for the organisations which also includes designing AA signs so exhibitors know where to go on the day
  4. Recruiting Student Ambassadors – Would you like to be one?? (Email: Fairs@soton.ac.uk for more info)
  5. Training the ambassadors and assigning their tasks
  6. Creating the Fair brochure with all the company information and stand plan
  7. Designing and organising all of the marketing so that you lovely students find out about the event and know where to go
  8. Organise CV clinics so students can get hand-on advice on the day of the Fair
  9. Organise a Networking Breakfast so companies and University staff can meet and share knowledge
  10. Co-ordinate on the day to ensure that everything runs smoothly and make it as enjoyable for you as possible!!

We are now only two months away from the All Sectors Fair and the IT, Science and Engineering Fair – A lot of these tasks have already been completed!
