Don&#8217;t bore the audience with the breadth of your design.<\/li>\n<li>\u201c<em>Don\u2019t just tell us about a product, show it to us, and do it with pizzazz<\/em>\u201d, presenting the product is better than showing slides. People like to see things in action. (Slightly harder to do in our case as we were not required to build the actual SNS).<\/li>\n<li>\u201c<em>Great presentations have an antagonist &#8212; a problem &#8212; followed by a hero &#8212; the solution<\/em>\u201d, show actual problems that the product will solve. (An easy task for our presentation. We can easily showcase the solving of poor seating).<\/li>\n<li>\u201c<em>Don\u2019t forget to motivate your internal audience &#8212; your team, employees and partners. Give them a purpose to rally around<\/em>\u201d, during the presentation all the members of the team must be seen as motivated.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In addition Jacqueline Whitmore(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/article\/244356\" target=\"_blank\">Entrepreneur<\/a>, 2015) expands on some extra tips:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>Know about your product; add supporting evidence in a memorable and easy-to-understand manner.<\/li>\n<li>Be relatable; conquer the audience with a story, a song.<\/li>\n<li>Keep it simple; do not push the audience.<\/li>\n<li>Know your audience; use pertinent language.<\/li>\n<li>Keep it real; be authentic.<\/li>\n<li>Use visuals wisely.<\/li>\n<li>Slow down; do not speak fast.<\/li>\n<li>Keep it short; highlight only important things.<\/li>\n<li>Share an \u201ca-ha\u201d moment\u2026 when you realized the product!<\/li>\n<li>Write a strong closing statement, leave the audience captivated by the idea.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How to WOW an audience?
