We&#8217;ll be considering\u00a0everything from pirates to shipwrecks to\u00a0sound and the sea.<\/p>\n<p>As a port city, Southampton has a long history of interaction with the sea and the industries surrounding it. This event will be an opportunity for the public to learn about and engage with innovative research on the sea across space and time.<\/p>\n<p>The event is free and the Avenue Campus caf\u00e9 will be open for visitors to purchase light refreshments.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the core talks, there will be some children\u2019s activities from 12-3pm and an interactive exhibition.
