Masters in Maritime Archaeology
This programme is designed to give students the best possible instruction, supervision and support in order to further their careers. Graduates are trained in cutting edge approaches: from 3D recording of ship structures, through geophysical and geotechnical analysis of submerged landscape deposits, to clear, concise and professional communication skills.
Practical and Fieldwork Opportunities
Opportunities to take part in practical training exercises, field trips, experimental archaeology and research-led fieldwork projects are a key part of postgraduate study at the CMA.
Masters Projects
Our students get the opportunity to develop their own research, honing both specialist and transferable skills across the discipline.
Research Degrees
The CMA has a large and vibrant community of MRes and Doctoral researchers. We are able to supervise theses across the whole maritime archaeological field, and encourage collaboration and co-supervision with researchers and staff from across the University.
