How to WOW an audience?

- âA presentation doesnât always need slides to wow an audienceâ, it is best to show the functionality of the product related with something that the audience loves to give a lasting impression.
- âIntroduce three benefits or features of a product, not 23â, quality is expressed as preferable to quantity and if it is possible one feature could be enough. Don’t bore the audience with the breadth of your design.
- âDonât just tell us about a product, show it to us, and do it with pizzazzâ, presenting the product is better than showing slides. People like to see things in action. (Slightly harder to do in our case as we were not required to build the actual SNS).
- âGreat presentations have an antagonist — a problem — followed by a hero — the solutionâ, show actual problems that the product will solve. (An easy task for our presentation. We can easily showcase the solving of poor seating).
- âDonât forget to motivate your internal audience — your team, employees and partners. Give them a purpose to rally aroundâ, during the presentation all the members of the team must be seen as motivated.

- Know about your product; add supporting evidence in a memorable and easy-to-understand manner.
- Be relatable; conquer the audience with a story, a song.
- Keep it simple; do not push the audience.
- Know your audience; use pertinent language.
- Keep it real; be authentic.
- Use visuals wisely.
- Slow down; do not speak fast.
- Keep it short; highlight only important things.
- Share an âa-haâ moment⊠when you realized the product!
- Write a strong closing statement, leave the audience captivated by the idea.
