We looked at a variety of topics, such as the Remount Depot, the US Naval Air Service,\u00a0and American soldiers in Southampton. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">As is typically the case with archival visits, there were a couple of dead ends, but also some really exciting leads! For example, church records from 1918 described how Hampshire celebrated Independence Day, and a pictorial in 1919 depicted the establishment of an American YMCA near the Bargate! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">We are very much looking forward to collating all the information into something helpful and informative.
