We were looking at remount officers&#8217; service records from Swaythling, as well as maps of the local depots and newspaper reports from the era.<\/p>\n<p>We discovered so many interesting details, from the Remount Depot officer who was floored by sandfly fever in Egypt, to the local calls for higher wages for women!
