The meeting was really productive and we are already\u00a0starting to plan our visit to resources in London at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iwm.org.uk\/visits\/iwm-london\">Imperial War Museum<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalarchives.gov.uk\/\">National Archives <\/a>(Kew) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bl.uk\/\">British Library<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Last week we met with a local historian about the Swaythling Remount Depot, and next week we are presenting at an evening course on local history\u00a0with Eastleigh Borough Council &#8211; so there&#8217;s lots to do!<\/p>\n<p>Our students will be introducing themselves to you shortly, but in the meantime if you have anything you would like to contribute to the project please get in touch <a href=\"mailto:swaythlingww1@soton.ac.uk\">swaythlingww1@soton.ac.uk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>See you soon!<\/p>\n<p>Charlotte<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, Today has been very exciting as we met our University of Southampton Humanities student volunteers for the first time!
