Archaeology 50th: Event Map (click on the map to go to the full size version).<\/p><\/div>\n

Programme Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Scavenger Hunt<\/strong> is designed to give you a fun tour of the department and its facilities. You can do this at your leisure between 14:00 and 17:00 and the map shows all of the event locations. Once you have filled your Scavenger Hunt forms please drop them into a box at the Reception desk (building 65).<\/p>\n

Memory Rooms, Memory Booth and a photo exhibition<\/strong> are located in the South Corridor of Building 65 and will be open between 14:00 and 17:00.<\/p>\n

In the North Corridor you will find several book stalls and a craft market<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For the duration of the afternoon (until 17:00), tea and cake<\/strong> will be served in the Caf\u00e9 area.<\/p>\n

There is a luggage room<\/strong> – if you would like to deposit something please ask at the Reception desk.<\/p>\n

Should you need some quiet time with your little ones please make use of the Hush! Quiet Room<\/strong> in Building 65.<\/p>\n

Timed events<\/strong> that you might wish to join:<\/p>\n

15:00 \u2013 An informal Archaeology Career round table<\/strong> discussion on career destinations where a panel of alumni will share their experiences. While the event is aimed at our current students, everyone is welcome to join and share their valuable experience.<\/p>\n

16:00 \u2013 A formal welcome by the Heads of the Faculty and the Department<\/strong> and cutting of the cake<\/strong> (the Courtyard, Building 65).<\/p>\n

16:30 \u2013 Group photo<\/strong> (terrace, east of Building 65).<\/p>\n

17:00 \u2013 Music and wine in the Caf\u00e9<\/strong>. Enjoy a glass of wine, while being entertained by a band consisting of current staff members \ud83d\ude42 The\u00a0Raffle draw<\/strong> will take place during one of the session breaks. Raffle tickets can be bought from the reception and prizes are on view in the Caf\u00e9 area.<\/p>\n

18:00 \u2013 End of the afternoon event.<\/p>\n

19:00 \u2013 24:00 \u2013 The Party. Venue: The Bridge, Student Union, Highfield Campus<\/strong>. If you are unsure how to get there please ask at the Reception where you can also pick up a map of the Highfield Campus. This is a ticketed event, but if you have changed your mind and would like to attend tickets will be available from the reception desk (cash or cheque).<\/p>\n
