{"id":200,"date":"2017-03-09T14:19:51","date_gmt":"2017-03-09T14:19:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/suarch50\/?page_id=200"},"modified":"2017-04-13T12:38:37","modified_gmt":"2017-04-13T11:38:37","slug":"travel","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/suarch50\/travel\/","title":{"rendered":"Travel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Southampton has good rail (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalrail.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.nationalrail.co.uk\/<\/a>) and coach connections (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalexpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.nationalexpress.com\/<\/a>) and if arriving by rail, or coach (very close to the central train station), you can then get a bus, Unilink U2 (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.unilinkbus.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.unilinkbus.co.uk\/<\/a>), from the south side of the train station (you should see a large &#8216;Toys R Us&#8217; store) to the Avenue campus, or there is a taxi rank.<\/p>\n<p>For flights you can fly to Southampton airport (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.southamptonairport.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.southamptonairport.com\/<\/a>), which is well served with internal UK flights, as well as flights from European destinations.
