The evening event will be at the Bridge, a SUSU venue (https://www.unionsouthampton.org/whats-on-and-where/spaces/our-spaces#bars) on the Highfield campus (SO17 1BJ). To quote SUSU:
“The Bridge – Our flagship venue for events in the Students’ Union and also one of the busiest; operating as a high quality restaurant during the day and hosting a whole series of events in the evening.”
The event starts at 19:00 and finishes at midnight (when we risk turning into pumpkins…) and will include food (a finger buffet) and a free drink for each guest, as well as a cash bar and music provided by our guest DJ and alumni, DJ Hippocampus (@HippocampusDJ on Facebook). It should be a great evening and being for archaeology alumni, staff and students there is no formal dress code, so come black tie, smart, casual or ‘dig grunge’… 😉
