COVID Healthcare Response: Vaccinator Training and PPE
Tuesday 20 July 2021, 18:00 – 19:00 BST
Join our fourth online event in our COVID-19 series highlighting the involvement of colleagues at the University of Southampton in the School of Health Sciences to support the pandemic. Our expert speakers will give insight into how their teams delivered training for healthcare professionals to give COVID-19 vaccinations and speak on their research into PPE. Sailing on the Edge: The Science Behind the Sport

Our latest “In Conversation” event features an all-alumni line-up of experts, who will share their knowledge on how engineering and science underpin innovation and success in world-class sailing, and Southampton’s impact on the high-performance sport. Kindertransport (Online Course)

History of the Chinese Community in Southampton

Southampton has been a popular destination for immigrants for hundreds of years. Join Dr. Michael Ng, chair of the Chinese Association of Southampton as he explores the history of the Chinese community in Southampton! Did you know Southampton has developed a twinning link with Qingdao in China since 1998? Additionally, our two universities welcome thousands of students from China every year to Southampton. In the world of sport, Mr. Gao is the current majority shareholder of Southampton Football Club! Health and Wellbeing Hub and Biodiversity Hub Summer Celebration

UK Fluids Conference 2021
Wednesday 8 September – Friday 10 September 2021
The UK Fluids Conference aims to bring together all those involved in fluid mechanics research in the UK. PhD-students and post-doctoral researchers are encouraged to attend as well as established researchers.
