Dr Grahaeme Henderson (BEng Civil Engineering, 1976), Vice President, Shipping and Maritime at Shell, has been appointed as Adjunct Professor with the University’s Southampton Marine and Maritime Institute (SMMI).
Grahaeme is responsible for Shell’s international shipping and maritime activities. He will work with the SMMI to provide students, academic and professional colleagues with operational insights into innovation, entrepreneurship and management within the global marine and maritime industries. Based at our new Boldrewood Innovation Campus, the SMMI encompasses over 300 academics and brings together our marine and maritime disciplines across the University.
