I am an Azheimer’s Society funded Clinical Doctoral Research Fellow with a clinical role is as an Advanced Practioner in Frailty at University Hospital Southampton.

My background is in Physiotherapy and I have worked with older people, both in the community, rehab facilities and in acute hospitals since 1999. My research interest is focused on acute hospitals and how people with dementia percieve the lack of mobility and independence that is apparent in many care processes on busy acute wards.
