Database Design of SoSporty<\/a><\/h1>\n

The following chart is the basic design of database. We will use (at least*<\/strong>) eight tables to store data. There are strong relationships between different tables.<\/p>\n

User<\/strong>: User table is used to store users’ information.<\/p>\n

GroupChatting<\/strong>: This table is used to store the chatting messages of an activity chatting group.<\/p>\n

Notifications<\/strong>: This table stores the notification that users can see on their devices.<\/p>\n

User-Activities<\/strong>: This table exists because the relationship between user and activity is many-to-many. This table reduces the redundant data.<\/p>\n

Friendship<\/strong>: This table is used to store the friendship between two users because SoSporty allows users to add friends.<\/p>\n

Activity<\/strong>: Activity table stores the basic information of activities.<\/p>\n

PrivateChatting<\/strong>: This table is used to store the chatting messages between two users.<\/p>\n

SportType<\/strong>: This table records the sports on SoSporty.<\/p>\n
