DESCRIPTION:\nMeeting 5 \nTuesday 13/03 \nPresent: \nXianglin Meng\, Mengzi Hao\, Shahini Rana. \n  \nFor the fifth meeting. There are two parts of our meeting this time. Firstly\, we discussed about 8 applications that similar with ours. Then\, we discussed our applications’ main functions and a little about the screens’ design. \nSimilar applications part: \n  \nBefore our meeting\, Rana made a chart in our google doc\, which contains 5 columns as follow: \n\n\n\n.\n\nLINK:link of the website we need to look\nFUNCTIONS THEY HAVE WE LIKE:find the good functions we would like to add to our app\nWORKS WELL:any functions works well? Why? How?\nDOESN’T WORK WELL:which functions doesn’t work well? Why? How to avoid/improve?\nDON’T HAVE:comparing with our app\, dose this app give up/ forget some functions? Why?\n\nBased on those questions\, everyone in the group went through two applications. \nRana said that  GOSWEAT has good comparison and price review functions\, but the providers are Official organisations which made it low in availability\, and it’s not a social networking. \nActive Gloucestershire has very good filtering function\, the directory and sport services and funding work well\, but it just an information provider\, and it’s also doesn’t contain a social networking aspect. Also Rana found another application named Meetup\, which bring us the idea of templet and payment functions. \nLin thinks the Notifications and Calendar functions of Game On can contribute to our app\, but the private chat function and pay function may make the app low in privacy and security. \nPlexus is a little out of the topic\, cause it’s about the mental fitness. But the Machine learning function may contribute to our app as searching history. \nAlice said some pages of Getac tivees sex may go 404 wrong and the location only limit in London area\, but it is good at searching because it can show related choices automatically. \nHula hub is very similar to our app\, the search and filter functions works well people can browse activities easily with it\, but the recommender function is not based on user’s interest\, so it may not be user friendly. \nFunctions and Screen design: \nBased on the discussion before we decided that there will be 8 main functions in our app:\n-Sign\n\n-Sign in\n-Sign up\n\n\n-Create activities\n\n(Choosing type: private or public)\n\n\n-Join activities\n\nSearch\n(Template)\n\n\n-Searching\n\nFiltering\nBrowsing activities(Locating automatically)\n\n\n-Editing profile\n\n\n\n(including basic information and some statistics showing automatically the number)\n\n\n-Friends\n\nAdd friends\nInvite friends\n\n\n-Statistics\n\n(joined; organized; absent)\n\n\n-Group chatting room\n\nAlso\, we generally talked about the main screens\, the present edition contains main screen\, search screen\, events information screen and menu screen.\n\n\n\nMeeting 5SoSporty!
