My background is in public health, specifically health information management. Previously, I studied Public Health at the University of Ghana where I heard about and <a href=\"https:\/\/obgyn.onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/full\/10.1016\/j.ijgo.2015.11.004\">collaborated <\/a>with academics from Southampton. Later, I studied GIS and Remote Sensing here at Southampton due to my love for maps, data visualisation and evidence-based decision-making in health. I have more than a decade\u2019s experience in public health programme implementation with the Ghana Health Service and briefly worked as a monitoring and evaluation lead in an NGO. My PhD project is focused on improving maternal health services in Ghana by using routinely collected health data. I would be analysing data on quality care provision, demand for maternal health services and travel time to health facilities. Hopefully, there would be some beautiful maps in there!<\/p>\n<p>If you do work with health data from developing countries or your project is anything public health, do feel free to have a chat and collaborate with me.
