We bring together expertise, interest and enthusiasm to develop research and careers in imaging research. Our collaborations span Medical Physics and Radiology at University Hospital Southampton (UHS), other UHS departments, and reach across the University of Southampton to drive innovation and impact. Our activities include knowledge exchange and developing strategic objectives to progress imaging research within Southampton.

Our aims

We develop research on using clinical imaging modalities such as MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound imaging, nuclear medicine and other modalities as deemed appropriate. This does not restrict collaboration with other ‘imagers’ and researchers across Southampton to drive this research forward to benefit patients.
