SERSCIS is reviewing a number of existing SLA languages, including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gria.org\/documentation\/5.2\/manual\/ogsa-dai-user-guide\/gria-ogsa-dai-service\/metrics-and-slas\/sla-templates\">GRIA SLAs<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/uclslang.sourceforge.net\/\">SLAng<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.research.ibm.com\/wsla\/\">WSLA<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ogf.org\/documents\/GFD.107.pdf\">WS-Agreement<\/a> to ascertain their extensibility for the description of dependability metrics and guarantees. Management models and mechanisms, such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dmtf.org\/standards\/wsman\/\">WS-Management<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oasis-open.org\/committees\/wsdm\/\">WSDM<\/a> and the proposed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ibm.com\/developerworks\/library\/specification\/ws-wsdmmgmt\/\">convergence<\/a> of these two standards, are also under review. In order to enforce the terms of an SLA, security policy representations including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gria.org\/documentation\/5.3\/manual\/pbac-2-manual\">PBAC<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oasis-open.org\/committees\/tc_home.php?wg_abbrev=xacml\">XACML<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/research.microsoft.com\/en-us\/projects\/secpal\/\">SecPAL<\/a> are being considered.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Integral to system governance is the concept of a Service Level Agreement (SLA).
