For further information see the <a href=\"http:\/\/nsidc.org\/data\/virtual_globes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">excellent resources for Google Earth<\/a> at the National Snow and Ice Data Center.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Activity<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"ta83_8\" class=\"block\">\n<p>Go to the flood map at <a href=\"http:\/\/flood.firetree.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">firetree.net.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Turn on the Hybrid map and navigate to the mouth of the Nile in Egypt. Climate change acts via indirect mechanisms to affect the ecosystem and therefore the transmission of many diseases.
