On 8th December 2016, two early career researchers from Biological Sciences presented their work at the British Society of Immunology<\/span><\/strong><\/a> in Liverpool. This meeting was a\u00a0three-day joint annual meeting from the British and Dutch Immunology societies with\u00a0>1600 attendees, representing the latest international research in immunology.\u00a0 Elena Pipi and Paul Ibbett both work on the role of inflammation in retinal diseases, such as age-related macular degeneration and are funded by the charity Fight for Sight<\/a>. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
