As we told you before, we had some issues with our ERGO submission of our short research survey \u2014 you can read it here, in the post “A sad story about a submission for ERGO”<\/a>. Here is the ending to the story.<\/p>\n

On 20th of April we had a letter about incorrect dates:<\/p>\n

As you can see, on 20th April we had changed the dates, submitted a\u00a0new version and requested a revision. However, it is still waiting for an approval from David Millard.<\/p>\n

On this step we had realised that we made a mistake: it is possible that our supervisor isn’t David but Thanassis?! However, there is no way to make corrections in the submission. Therefore, we created a new one, with Thanassis as a supervisor \u2014 and got an approval on the same day.<\/p>\n

But here was a new obstacle. As you can see above, it is two submissions which are practically the same. The differences are just: supervisor’s name, dates of research and a number of a\u00a0submission: 19979 and 20291. And what is the answer from the committee to the second one? Ta-dam!<\/p>\n

\"ergo4\"<\/a><\/p>\n

So: we can’t get an approval from a supervisor for our first submission (19979), we can’t change the name of the supervisor and we can’t get an approval from the ERGO for the second one (20291) because it is the same as the first. Times flies, and we haven’t get the answer until now.<\/p>\n

Due to lack of time, we decided to try other methods. See it in separated post.<\/p>\n
