With this post we are finishing our workings, which produced a prototype of our idea to develop a new social network, by the name Hobby Link. The next step is to present our idea at the Dragons Den Panel. To prepare for that we created a shared PowerPoint presentation on oneDrive, so that we can work collaboratively on it and decide on the structure and content of the slides.Β In the coming days we will discuss about the way we will deliver the presentation and more specifically who’s going to talk about what and for how long, while keeping in mind that it’s going to be a 10-minute presentation.
Each member of our team was responsible for tasks that were more relevant to their domain of studies. In the case that all four of us present, the advantage is that each one is best suited to talk about the tasks they worked on, but maybe transitions from one speaker to the next might cost us precious time if they are not well coordinated. On the other hand, if we decide that only some of us will present at the panel, we will probably end up with a more coherent result, but some ideas that are out of the expertise of the speaker might not be portrayed clearly.
On our next meeting, on Wednesday 9/5, the team will discuss the trade-offs and decide what they think is the best approach. In any case, Team POPS, will try its best as always, and is very much looking forward to taking on the challenge!
