On the previous post, we mentioned about the benefit that we would like to deliver into students (at University of Southampton) as the main users. But how about our target customers? So in this post, we will focus on what values that we would like to bring into our customers and the reason behind why they need to adopt our application into their university.
Based on our customer segmentation. Our key targets will be the University of Southampton and their Student Union. They could act both customers and also key partnership (which will be explained in another post) as our team need their support in order to make this application into fruition.
Here are the values that we try to deliver into our customers:
- University of Southampton:
- Achieving their goals to maintain the diversity in their campus and made all students connected (even with diverse backgrounds) through our application
- Part of their marketing campaign that we have a good application that help the students connecting with their cohorts
- Publicity! (if the application is deemed successful and many other universities are trying to adopt the application)
- Southampton University Student Union (SUSU):
- Helping the union to reach students to adopt club/activities (so they could bring the marketing campaign more targeted, as most of the strategy for now is mass advertising, through popular social media)
- Bring more revenues to the student venues that was managed under SUSU
- Providing intermediaries between club, students and the union through the application hub
Moreover, the values given here isn’t limited into what we’ve mentioned and we are trying to develop the application, thus delivering improved values to every stakeholders. Although we might be prioritizing the value delivered to the students as the main users as it was the target customers of both university and the union.
